The special issue, guest edited by Dr. Wei-Jei Lee, aims to provide comprehensive surgical techniques on laparoscopic metabolic surgery to surgeons all around the world, which we hope will also be beneficial to the growth of young surgeons and also for the benefit of patients with Type 2 Diabetes.
