The focused issue on “Advanced Laparoscopic HPB Surgery in South East Asia”, guest edited by Drs. Chung Yip Chan, Ser Yee Lee and Adrian Kah Heng Chiow, focuses on the status and development of advanced laparoscopic HPB surgery in the ASEAN region and its developing countries. The purpose of this issue is to discuss the development of advanced laparoscopic HPB surgery and share the diverse experiences from world-leading experts at different institutions. It also serves as the official conference proceedings of the 2nd ASEAN Laparoscopic HPB Surgery Conference organized by the Hepatopancreatobiliary Association (HPBA) Singapore.
