Go Miyano (Endoscopic Surgery)

Dr. Go Miyano is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric General & Urogenital Surgery at Juntendo University School of Medicine, a position he has held since 2009. He attended Juntendo University from 1995-2001 and completed his residency and fellowship under the supervision of the current Professor and Head of the Department of Pediatric General & Urogenital Surgery, Atsuyuki Yamataka from 2001-2006. Dr. Miyano was a visiting research fellow at Blank Children’s Hospital in Iowa, under the supervision of Professor Thom E. Lobe from 2006-2007 and at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Ohio under the supervision of Professor Thomas H. Inge from 2007-2008.
Dr. Miyano has a particular interest in pediatric minimally invasive surgery. He has conducted numerous clinical research projects and published over 120 manuscripts in authoritative peer-reviewed journals, over 50 as first author. He has also given over 50 presentations at various international conferences. Dr. Miyano is currently a World-At-Large Representative of the International Pediatric Endosurgery Group, and Secretary General of the Japan-Chapter of the Pacific Association of Pediatric Surgeons.
