Dr. Eubanks came to Florida Hospital in September of 2010 as the Executive Director of Academic Surgery and the Executive Director of the Institute for Surgical Advancement. Dr. Eubanks is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine and was trained in General Surgery at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta.
He was the first Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellow at Duke University and went on to serve on the Duke faculty for 10 years. Dr. Eubanks was Professor and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the University of Missouri prior to coming to Florida Hospital.
Dr. Eubanks has served as the President of SAGES, published 8 surgical books and approximately 90 peer-reviewed journal articles. His primary areas of clinical and research interests are advanced minimally invasive surgery and upper gastrointestinal diseases.
