Yoon-Suk Lee, MD, PhD (Colorectal Surgery)

Prof. Yoon-Suk Lee was born in 1970 in Seoul, Korea and graduated from College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea, Korea in 1996 and was given the doctor of medicine in 1996. And had surgical resident training from 1997 to 2001 in College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea, Korea. He got Board of general surgery in 2001. Prof Lee served as a flight surgeon in air force of republic of Korea for 3 years (2001-2004). Prof Lee got Master’s Degree, Medicine, Graduate school, The Catholic university of Korea, 2001 and Ph.D., Medicine, Medicine, Graduate school, The Catholic university of Korea, 2008. Prof Lee also had interested in nutrition and metabolism and is chief of nutritional support team (NST) in Incheon St. Mary’s Hospital, College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea. He had been in the Cleveland Clinic Florida as a research fellow in department of colorectal surgery in 2009-2010. Prof Lee is now active member in many medical society including Korean medical association, Korean surgical society, Korean society of coloproctology, Korean society of endoscopy & laparoscopic surgery, Korean society of surgical oncology, Korean surgical ultrasound society, Korean society of surgical metabolism and nutrition, Korean association of robotic surgeons. Prof Lee had experiences of laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery more than 2500 cases. He published 85 articles in many journals and had more than 100 times of invited lecture in many medical conferences. Prof Lee also performed more than 10 times live surgical demonstration in Korea and Asian medical conferences.
