Pediatric minimal invasive surgery—bile duct diseases

The laparoscopic surgery brings a new horizon to conventional treatments. In this article, we reviewed the minimal invasive surgeries in the treatment of bile duct diseases in children. The results demonstrated that laparoscopic treatments for bile duct diseases in children are safe, and can achieve comparable or superior surgical outcomes as those of open surgery.
