Laparoscopic liver resection and adjuvant chemotherapy with optimal timing: a step towards survival prolongation in colorectal liver metastasis patients

Abstract

We are grateful to Dr. Ramanathan and Prof. Geller for their insightful comments on our recent study. Liver resection followed by adjuvant chemotherapy (AC) has been often performed for resectable colorectal cancer liver metastases (CRCLM), with cumulative evidences of survival benefit against systematic chemotherapy alone (1).
